BENJAMIN WEILL

Benjamin is an award winning lighting designer based in NYC.  He is the resident lighting designer and production manager for The New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players as well as being a freelance designer..  He has designed shows on both coasts, including: RENT, The Wedding Singer, Les Miserables, The Pirates of Penzance, Fiddler on the Roof, Songs for a New World, Cyrano de Bergerac, The Wiz, Lorca in a Green Dress, City of Angels and The Importance of Being Earnest. Additionally, he has worked as an assistant around the country at South Coast Repertory, The Utah Shakespearean Festival, Great River Shakespeare Festival, and Studio Arena Theater.  Benjamin holds a Masters of Fine Arts from UCIrvine.
